Melanie and Jordan are a couple of high school sweethearts from Fishers Island, CT .  They had such an amazing wedding day despite battling spurts of rain throughout the day.  The Preparations began at a private countryside retreat in Connecticut, which is also where Melanie and Jordan shared their First Look against a breathtaking woodland backdrop.  From there we headed to Wadsworth Mansion for the ceremony and reception.  Melanie had envisioned her ceremony outside overlooking the sprawling gardens as well as dancing on the patio under the moonlight and thankfully Mother Nature complied.  The grounds at Wadsworth are simply stunning.  Guests enjoyed roaming the mansion and gardens during cocktail hour and afterwards we were all blown away by Melanie’s choreographed dance with her Stepfather.  I’m pretty sure we all wish we could dance like that and have that much fun doing it!  Melanie and Jordan I wish you all the best and a lifetime of happiness, thank you again for allowing me the honor of photographing your wedding ~ Mia Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________ Pin SITE IMAGE________

When Sarah and I first spoke on the phone I could feel the chemistry and I knew there would be lots of laughs to come.  This was confirmed when she, Declan, and I met in Boston for their walk through at the Harvard Club.  Declan and Sarah are two extremely kindhearted and genuine people which made working with them an absolute pleasure.  I honestly don’t think they stopped laughing and smiling throughout their entire wedding day.  They began their preparations at the Fairmont Copley Hotel and the Harvard Club, where they met for their First Look.  Their ceremony was at one of my personal favorite churches in Boston, St. Cecilia’s where Father John captivated everyone’s attention with some humorous facts about Sarah & Declan’s relationship.  From there we headed to the Boston Public Garden for some photo’s, jumped back on the trolley and headed back to the Harvard Club for the reception.  During cocktail hour their guests enjoyed listening to an Irish Step Band and snapping Fuji Instapix for the bride and grooms memory book.  The reception started off with Sarah’s dad’s toast and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house afterwards.  Naturally the Maids of Honor and Best Man toasts had us all laughing again pretty quickly.  Everyone was eager to get on the dance floor (especially Sarah) and dance the night away!  Thanks again Sarah and Declan, all the best to you both on your many adventures together!

Lynn & Sean are yet another Match.com success story!  Some months into their dating they decided to take an impromptu trip to Ireland.  One day during the trip Lynn noticed Sean seemed a little crabby while on their excursions.  Little did she know he was planning to pop the question at the perfect spot, but regardless of his efforts he kept running into road blocks.  Nevertheless the proposal was perfect enough.  They were married at the Liberty Hotel among their dearest family and friends, even a little rain couldn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Thank you again Lynn & Sean for inviting me to capture your day! Alyssa and Joe’s wedding was the epitome of grace and elegance and I truly loved every bit of it.  They began their day getting ready at the unrivaled Biltmore Hotel in Providence, where Alyssa and Joe also had their first look at each other.  It was a bit too windy to walk so we shuttled our way over to the Providence Public Library where the ceremony and reception were held.  The library is a photographers dream from it’s marble walls and wrought iron staircases to the gorgeous architecture that surrounds you.  It is most certainly a favorite venue of mine and it suited Alyssa & Joe’s tastes perfectly.  One of my favorite details from this wedding was their table naming which was after world renowned works of art, for example “The Mona Lisa”, and a postcard of each piece of art on the table.  I found it to be very unique, but with Alyssa being an artist herself I shouldn’t be surprised.  Thank you once again Alyssa & Joe for inviting me to be a part of your amazing wedding day, and the warmest of wishes for your next phase on the west coast!!! I can remember first meeting Nina at my old job when she was about 10 years old, scooting around the store on one of the ride on toys during a snow day.  Here we are some years later and she’s transformed into this kind, incredibly talented, gorgeous young woman!  We had a fabulous time during our shoot at one of my favorite locations, Larz Andersen Park.  Nina and I had planned to do some portraits and then some dance portraits in her Pointe shoes.  The result is pure beauty and I could not love these more.  Senior year can be such a thrilling dichotomy of closure and anticipation…and I hope you savor every bit of it Nina, enjoy!!! ninablog01Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog02Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog03Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog04Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog05Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog06Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog07Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog08Pin SITE IMAGE________ ninablog09Pin SITE IMAGE________
