Katie and Christopher traveled all the way from New Mexico for their stunning destination wedding in Newport. They had booked me after a phone conversation once they were newly engaged, and we met in person for the first time this past July while they were in town finishing up the last few details. I could tell after meeting them that they were very kind and genuine people, and that was proven even more so on their wedding day. Everything was held onsite at the Chanler at Cliff Walk. Their ceremony was held on the sprawling lawn overlooking the gleaming blue ocean. Katie and Christopher honored Mexican tradition by including a Lasso & Coins ceremony which symbolizes unity. The Lasso & Coins they used were originally Christopher’s grandmother’s and his boutonniere had been his grandfather’s. This day was not only about Katie and Christopher’s marriage but also the uniting of two families. Katie and Chris, your love for one another radiated throughout the entire day. It was an honor to spend your wedding day with you and your families, thank you again! Best of luck with all of the new endeavors ahead of you both!!!
